This year's Historic Bronzeville Progressive Dinner & Block Party will take place Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 2pm to 7pm.

Neighbors and visitors move from one of (5) houses to another by progressing and sharing great food and libations, and learning about the history of the homes and legacy of the Bronzeville area. This experience includes appetizers/cocktails, soups/salads, main course dinner, desserts and champagne.

Residents welcome visitors to progress and change in Bronzeville from the early migration days of the 1940’s to present day - and what’s in store for the next decade to celebrate the area’s history- Jazz, Blues, Rhythm & Blues and more –much more!

Above are pictures of our Progressive Dinner event.

Concept & Idea:
Five homeowners get to share their stories on renovations, restoration and house history while enjoying food, libations and laughter.  Approximately 50-60 residents and their dear friends travel via bus from one home to another on a relaxed Sunday afternoon.  Participants spend approximately 50 minutes at each home and will travel via bus from one destination to the next.
