Teshera is the co-chair of the Commercial Development Task Force at BARCC, as well as a Market Development Manager with Johnson & Johnson with responsibilities that include developing business strategy and platforms based on her strengths in market research and analytics. Teshera brings over ten years of experience as a marketing professional in consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals and surgical devices. Her ability to identify current and emerging market trends in the mass and ethnic markets has set her apart from others in this profession. Teshera has a proven track record of success in influencing both internal and external business partners at all levels of an organization. Teshera has a demonstrated skill in building relationships and motivating partners to embrace and initiate change, which maximizes the overall business performance and profitability for all key stakeholders on those projects.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Pepperdine University with a bachelor of science in Business Management, she has earned Global Management Certificates from Austral Universidad in Argentina and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in China. Teshera is also an active member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor Society.
A New York native, Teshera is currently a resident in the Bronzeville community. She resides in the historic Jones Brothers' building on Michigan Avenue and frequently entertains out-of-town guests along with, Naley, her 80-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback.
