Phaedra M. Leslie is the Sr. Vice President, responsible for new business development, managing high profile clients and complex, multi-faceted projects, creating innovative diversity strategies in procurement for corporate, government and institutional clients for Target Group, Inc. (an economic development consulting firm in Chicago).
As Account Executive, it was Phaedra's job to create economic opportunity programs for the inclusion of minority and women contractors/vendors, as well as Chicago residents for real estate developers, institutions and government agencies. She has been with Target Group, Inc. for 6 years and has managed many large and complex projects including the University Center of Chicago the newly built shared residential hall of Columbia College, Roosevelt University and DePaul University located in downtown Chicago. One of her most recent projects includes the Children’s Memorial Lurie Hospital Project and the Chicago Housing Authority's Plan for Transformation mixed income residential development "Oakwood Shores" and "Lake Park Crescent" located in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood.
A native of Chicago, she graduated from Morgan Park High School and went on to attend Denison College with a double major in English Literature and Mass Media. She continued her education at the University of Phoenix where she gained a Masters in Organizational Management.She is a member of Women in Planning and Development, Teen Living Programs Associate Board, and the 3rd Ward 2016 Olympics Committee.
