Marvell Turnage
Condominium Coalition Development Board Member

Marvell L. Turnage currently serves as Manager of Human Resources for the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. As an HR business partner within the Chicago Ad Sales market, Marvell collaborates with all levels of management to help drive the business toward establishing and maintaining a culture of growth and excellence. In this role, Marvell oversees twelve locations throughout Illinois, as well as Merrillville, Indiana.

Prior to working for Comcast, Marvell worked as a HR Consultant for Turner Broadcasting System in Atlanta, Georgia. While at Turner, Marvell was responsible for administering human resources policies, programs and practices to clients in the Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C. markets.

A native of Chicago, Marvell graduated from Metropolitan High School and later received his Bachelors in Education and Masters in Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Marvell has served on multiple committees and boards, including the Job Training Program for Damascus Ministries Board of Directors in Atlanta, Georgia. As a board member, one of his responsibilities involved providing job readiness training and résumé building to welfare to work participants. He is also an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management, National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications, and the National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources.
