Meet the BARCC Board Members


Dr. Keith McCoy
Vice President of Strategy
Safety / Security & Clean and Green

Keith is a dynamic and charismatic educator. Keith presently teaches college mathematics for Wilbur Wright College, one of the seven City Colleges of Chicago (CCC). He has taught for CCC for over 15 years, is currently the Co-chair of the Mathematics Department, and chaired CCC's re-design of its developmental mathematics curriculum. He was recently elected as the President of CCC's district-wide Faculty Council.

Keith has obtained a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame, and a Masters of Science in Statistics from the University of Georgia.

Keith has worked as a senior research analyst for the American Society for
Clinical Pathology for three years. He currently does independent consulting for CCC and private interests. Keith participates in several organizations and associations. He is the treasurer for Black Faculty and Staff in Higher Education. He serves as the chair of Oakwood Boulevard Improvement Association. Keith also participates in the Chicago Public Schools and Chicago Police Department's "We Care Role Model" Program.

Keith's interest extends beyond academia and research. Keith is also a local Chicago actor and is one of the founding members of the Overflow Ensemble Theatre Company (OETC).
